What is RISC-M?
A look at our computer architecture club at the University of Michigan and why we started building together.
What is RISC-M?
RISC-M is a computer architecture club at the University of Michigan. We bring students together to work on hardware projects, share what they are learning, and explore computer architecture outside the classroom.
Why we started
After taking EECS 470 and building a foundation in computer architecture, we wanted a place to keep going. We saw an opportunity for a student community where people could collaborate on projects, get feedback, and learn from one another.
RISC-M grew out of that idea: a place to turn an interest in computer hardware into something you can design, build, and explain.
What this showcase is for
This page is where members can share what they are working on. Each project gets space for the problem, the design, and the decisions behind it, along with links to the people and code involved.
Projects do not have to be finished to belong here. Sharing work in progress lets other members follow along, ask questions, and offer feedback while there is still room to try something different.
Get involved
